The Gol-e-Gohar Iron Ore Co. MD also stated that the company is aiming to produce seven million mt of iron ore concentrate during the current Iranian year (21.03.2007-20.03.2008 ) - an increase of 20 percent compared with the last Iranian year.
Gol-e-Gohar to complete €280M mining development
Mr. Mohammad Said Sameinejad, managing director of Gol-e-Gohar Iron Ore Co., has announced in an interview that the company is currently implementing development projects worth a total of €280 million, of which 144 million has been spent to date with the balance expected to be invested within the coming 12 months. Mr. Sameinejad went on to add that the company's pelletizing iron ore plant with a capacity of five million mt/year has been 79 percent completed and is to be put into operation early in the next Iranian year (begins 21.03.2008).
