Germany’s industrial output up 0.4 percent in November from October

In November last year, seasonally-adjusted industrial production increased by 0.4 percent in Germany compared to the previous month, while the corrected figure for October showed an increase of 0.5 percent compared to September, according to the provisional data of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).
 
As compared to October, in November last year production excluding energy and construction increased by 0.4 percent, while the production of capital goods narrowed by 0.1 percent and output of consumer goods was up by 0.3 percent. Meanwhile, the production of intermediate goods increased by 0.9 percent, while energy production declined by 0.4 percent and construction output saw a rise of 1.5 percent, all month on month.
