According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in April this year the import price of iron ore increased by 1.5 percent year on year in Germany, while it was up by 4.8 percent as compared to March this year. In April, the import price of nickel fell by 9.7 percent compared to the same month of last year and was up by 5.2 percent month on month.
In April, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany fell by 6.7 percent year on year, but rose by one percent compared to the previous month.
