In the first four months of the current year, Georgia's total external trade turnover with Turkey, which is the top trading partner of the country, amounted to $547.6 million, including exports worth $103.81 million, up 36.4 percent, and imports worth $443.8 million, increasing 17.6 percent, both on year-on-year basis, according to the data provided by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
In the first four months, semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel ranked fourth among Georgia's most exported products to Turkey, amounting to 21,795 metric tons, down 11.6 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the value of these exports totaled $10.68 million, up 17 percent year on year.
