French steel scrap prices recover in January from December levels

According to the latest data issued by the French Steel Federation (FFA), in January this year local French steel scrap prices for all categories recovered substantially compared to the previous month, but were still far short of January 2011 price levels. Local steel scrap prices in France in January this year were as follows:
