Freight volume on China’s Daqin Railway up 7.96 percent in H1 2026

The freight volume on the Daqin Railway in China totaled 204 million mt in the January-June period this year, up 7.96 percent year on year.

In June alone, the freight volume on the Daqin Railway amounted to 36.89 million mt, up 13.79 percent year on year, 4.08 percentage points slower than the increase recorded in May.

In particular, the average daily freight volume on the Daqin Railway amounted to 1.2297 million mt in June.
