Freight volume on China’s Daqin Railway up 3.79 percent in Jan-Apr 2026

The freight volume on the Daqin Railway in China totaled 128.02 million mt in the January-April period this year, up 3.79 percent year on year.

In April alone, the freight volume on the Daqin Railway amounted to 31.16 million mt, up 1.76 percent year on year, 4.68 percentage points slower than the increase recorded in March, with some maintenance works during April 1-27 negatively affecting the freight volume in the given month.

In particular, the average daily freight volume on the Daqin Railway amounted to 1.0387 million mt in April.
