France's steel product export value down 8.4 percent in 2016

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, 2016 France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €8.09 billion, falling by 8.4 percent year on year.
 
During the year in question, France exported €1.41 billion of steel pipes and tubes - down 37.4 percent, €535.62 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 6.7 percent, €345.1 million of cold drawn wire - down by 5.6 percent, €321.82 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 1.9 percent, and €677.35 million of metal structures and parts - down by 13.8 percent, all compared to 2015.
