According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-October period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €8.24 billion, decreasing by 7.7 percent year on year.
In the given period, France exported €1.23 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 15.3 percent, €357 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 8.2 percent, €496.2 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 12.2 percent, €271.12 million of cold drawn wire - down 10.2 percent, and €574.8 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 9.1 percent, all compared to the same period of 2018.
