France's steel product export value down 15.5 percent in January

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in January this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €723.09 million, decreasing by 15.5 percent year on year.

In the given month, France exported €94.62 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 53.2 percent, €32.28 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 23.8 percent, €49.69 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 11 percent, €24.58 million of cold drawn wire - down 13.9 percent, and €44.01 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 10.8 percent, all compared to 2019.
