According to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the country's industrial production in August this year remained stable as compared to the previous month, following a revised month-on-month increase of 0.8 percent recorded in July.
In August, France's production in manufacture of metals and metal products surged by 0.5 percent, the production of the automotive industry increased by 0.8 percent, while the output of the construction industry regressed by 0.1 percent, all compared to the previous month.
