FNM: the government should open the tender for VS in November

According to the statement released by the National Property Fund (FNM), the government should start privatization of Vitkovice Steel (VS) in mid-November. The privatization of VS is estimated to generate CZK4 billion ($161.8 million) since big investors show interest in the company's privatization. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, certain major steel producers, such as Arcelor, Severstal, LNM Group and Industrial Union of Donbass expressed their interest in VS. LNM is indicated as the favorite in the tender as it controls Ispat Nova Hut (INH) in Czech Republic and INH is the largest trading partner of VS.
