Ferrexpo's iron ore concentrate output increases in January

Swiss-headquartered resources company Ferrexpo, whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets, has announced that in January this year its overall iron ore concentrate production from its own raw materials increased by 10.9 percent year on year to 1.197 million mt.

In particular, Poltava GOK, a subsidiary of Ferrexpo, has announced that in the first month of the current year its production of pellets from its own ore increased by 9.6 percent compared to the same period of last year to 943,000 mt, while its pellet production from third party concentrate amounted to 42,000 mt.
