Ezhou Pellet Plant to achieve 5 million mt pellet output target for 2011

Chinese company Wuhan Iron and Steel Mining Co., a subsidiary of Hubei Province-based major Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel (WISCO), has announced that its Ezhou Pellet Plant produced 476,000 million mt of iron ore pellets in October this year, which constitutes a record monthly output.
 
In the first 10 months of the current year, the iron ore pellet output of Ezhou Pellet Plant totaled 4.073 million mt. Accordingly, the plant is likely to achieve its iron ore pellet output target of 5 million mt for the current year.
