Russian mining and steelmaking company Evraz Group has resumed operations at its rebar rolling mill in Kostanay, Kazakhstan, after a month of suspension, according to market sources.

A source familiar with the issue said that the rebar mill will produce rebar in February for its local and export customers; however, the production volume will be limited, with the source adding that there are no signs of improvement in the construction industry.

The company suspended production at the Kazakhstan rebar mill last month, citing low seasonal rebar demand and unfavorable market conditions.
