The Russian iron and steel producer Evraz Group has announced the beginning of scheduled repair work at one of the pellet producing complexes of its subsidiary Kachkanarskiy GOK (KGOK).

The complex in question, with a production capacity of 5,000 metric tons of pellets per day, will be stopped for a total of 24 days.

Currently, KGOK possesses four pellet producing complexes with a total annual output of six million metric tons, 60 percent of which is supplied to another Evraz subsidiary - NTMK - as raw material for pig iron production.
