Eurofer scrap indexes down slightly in June from May

According to the indexes issued by the European Steel Association (Eurofer), local scrap prices in the European Union (EU) in June indicated only very slight decreases compared to the previous month. Compared to the same month of last year, the same indexes showed slight changes, though positive. The following table indicates the scrap index movements in June:
