According to indexes issued by the European Steel Association (EUROFER), in June this year local scrap prices in the European Union (EU) indicated a very slight decrease compared to the previous month, following the €10/mt month-on-month increase recorded in April and the slight increase recorded in May.
Meanwhile, in June, significant decreases were recorded on year-on-year basis, as shown in the following table:
