EU starts AD investigation for rebar imports from Belarus

The European Commission (EC) has announced that it has started an antidumping (AD) investigation for certain concrete reinforcement bar and rod imports from Belarus upon a complaint received from the European Steel Association (EUROFER) alleging that the mentioned imports are being dumped and are thereby causing material injury to the EU industry.
 
The investigation will cover the period between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015. 
 
The investigation will be concluded within 15 months starting from the publication of the notice in the Official Journal of the European Union
 
The products subject to investigation currently fall within CN codes 7214.10.00, 7214.20.00, 7214.30.00, 7214.91.10, 7214.91.90, 7214.99.10, 7214.99.71, 7214.99.79 and 7214.99.95.
