In the first month of 2008, Ukraine exported a total of 132,931 tons of steel products to the EU, filling 9.82 percent of its revised quota of 1,353,000 tons.
When the figures are broken down, we see that Ukraine filled 6.79 percent of its hot rolled coil quota (13,225 of 194,750 allotted tons), 12.87 percent of its heavy plate quota (51,446 of 399,750 allotted tons), and 6.68 percent of its wire rod quota (13,360 of 199,875 allotted tons).
