The European Commission has announced in the Official Journal of the European Union that its antidumping (AD) duty order on stainless steel fasteners from China and Taiwan will remain in effect for a further five years, in order to contain competitive threats to European Union steelmakers.

The antidumping duty rates on the stainless steel fasteners in question include 23.6 percent for Taiwanese products and 27.4 percent for Chinese products.
