EU and China stand together for free trade

At the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) foreign ministers' meeting in Singapore, EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi reaffirmed their commitment to multilateralism and free trade, according to media reports.

Wang said the two parties will enhance their strategic communication and cooperation to help maintain global peace and stability, while Mogherini said that the EU stands with China regarding trade issues and will not adopt any policy against China.
