EU-27 steel exports up 18 percent in Jan from Dec

According to the European steel association EUROFER, in January this year European Union (EU-27) flat steel exports totaled 1.294 million mt, while long steel exports amounted to 728,000 mt. Accordingly, overall EU-27 steel exports in January totaled 2.022 million mt, down 18.36 percent month on month and increasing by 18.94 percent year on year.
