Estonian galvanizing plant faces availability problems

Estonian galvanizing plant Galvex is caught between a rock and a hard place. At the moment the availability of cold rolled full hard is very low as just about any cold rolled producer in the world is giving priority to exports to Asia and in particular to China. At the same time, the prices of hot dipped galvanized for the US have plummeted and the mill has been forced to accept as little as USD400/Mt FOB base + USS extras.
