Erdemir determined to increase its domestic sales prices

SteelOrbis is informed that, Erdemir has increased its domestic sales prices that were readjusted on February 11, 2004, by rates ranging between $60-70/mt in the board meeting held last week. That such a decision could be given as the domestic sales price list of Erdemir is lower than the offers of manufacturers in the countries of the region was reported by SteelOrbis in the previous week. It is believed that domestic and export orders which ceased on February 19, 2004, being fairly more than expected had an effect on this situation. No sooner the exact details are received by SteelOrbis, will the members be informed immediately.
