Dongbei Special Steel completes relocation to Dalian

On July 11, Liaoning-based Chinese steelmaker Dongbei Special Steel Group Co. held a ceremony to mark the completion of its relocation to its new steel production base in Dalian.

Dongbei Special Steel's new steel production base is located in Lingang Industrial Park, Dengshahe, New Jinzhou District, Dalian, Liaoning Province. The site covers an area of 3.05 million square meters, and the new base has a total of 10 production lines.
 
With the completion of the relocation project, Dongbei Special Steel has an annual crude steel output of 3 million mt, an annual finished steel output of 2.55 million mt, and an annual turnover totaling RMB 50 billion ($7.70 billion).
