Masteel carries out hot trial test at new continuous rolling facilities

Anhui Province-based Chinese steelmaker Maanshan Iron and Steel Co. (Masteel) has successfully carried out a hot trial test at the continuous rolling facilities which form part of its electric furnace project, according to China MCC17 Group Co., a subsidiary of state-owned enterprise China Metallurgical Group Co. (MCC), which is in charge of construction work for the project.

This latest hot trial test follows previous hot trial tests at Masteel's crude steel producing and continuous casting facilities in the context of the same project.
