Donetskstal to construct coke oven battery at Makeevkoks by end of 2010

The Ukrainian steel group Donetskstal plans by the end of the current year to complete the construction of the new 350,000 mt capacity coke oven battery at its coke producing subsidiary Makeevkoks. The total investments in the construction amount to about $30 million.
 
Accordingly, following the completion of the coke oven battery at Makeevkoks and in the event of a favorable market situation, Donetskstal also plans to build a coke oven battery at its Yasinovsk coke-chemical plant.
