On Monday the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced that it has rescinded the administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on circular welded carbon quality steel pipe (standard pipe) from China.

The review had originally covered 24 Chinese producers/exporters, and the period of review was calendar year 2011.

The reviews were requested by Wheatland Tube Company and LDR Industries Inc., but they subsequently withdrew their requests.
