South Korean steelmaker Daehan Steel said that it has obtained KS (Korea Standard) certification (KS D3504) for its steel bars-in-coil.

In this connection, the Korea Standards Association (KSA) inspected the related documents and mill of Daehan Steel for two days from September 7 and examined its products on September 19. The KSA's KS certification was granted for Daehan Steel's SD300, SD400 and SD500 (below D16) steel bars-in-coil.

Daehan Steel said that it has established a bridgehead in preparation for the full-scale sales of its steel bars-in-coil in the second half of this year, forecasting that the operation of its Pyungtake Plant will increase with the full-scale production of steel bars-in-coil.
