CSC hikes domestic prices for next quarter

Taiwanese China Steel Corporation (CSC) recently announced it will hike its sales prices for the domestic market for third quarter shipments. It is stated that these increases will be implemented as a result of raw material shortages and price gap with international markets. On the other hand it is observed that prices will less improve, such as around 10%, compared to the hikes applied in second quarter. Price increases, ranging between NTD 800-1'220/ton ($24-37/ton), on product basis are as follows:
