CPCA: China’s vehicle retail sales to rise by 9% in February

China’s passenger vehicle retails sales are expected to reach 1.364 million units in February, up 9.0 percent year on year, while rising by 6.0 percent month on month, according to the preliminary statistics by China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). 

Wholesale sales of passenger vehicles in China in February are expected to amount to 1.598 million units, up 9.0 percent year on year, while increasing by 10.0 percent month on month.  

According to the CPCA, new energy vehicle sales are likely to reach 438,000 units in February, up 59 percent year on year, while up 32 percent month on month. 

Passenger retail sales maintained a steady uptrend in February amid the improvement in demand for vehicles.
