Construction starts on two pipelines in China’s Xinjiang region

Construction work has commenced on the Wangjiagou-Wulumuqi crude oil pipeline project and the Wulumuqi-Wangjiagou oil products pipeline project in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region - both being projects of Xinjiang-based Wulumuqi Petroleum Engineering Corporation.
 
The construction work will be carried out by Xinjiang Oilfield Construction Company, and is expected to cost RMB 460 million ($70.8 million). The two pipelines are 56.63 kilometers long, and each has an annual capacity of 4.50 million mt.
