CISA: China’s average daily crude steel output rises in early Sept

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in early September (Sept. 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily output of crude steel by its member steel enterprises in China totaled 1.565 million mt, up 2.9 percent compared to late August (August 21-31). In early September, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1.895 million mt, indicating an increase of 1.2 percent compared with late August.
 
As Steelorbis previously reported, in late August (August 21-31) this year the average aggregate daily production of crude steel by large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1,521,400 mt, down 3.73 percent compared to mid-August (August 11-20). In late August, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1,871,500 mt, down 3.05 percent compared with mid-August, according to the CISA.
