CIB: Turkish steel industry seeks opportunities in Latin America and Caribbean

The Turkish Steel Exporters' Association (CIB) has announced that it is planning commercial visits to Latin America and the Caribbean region on October 1-8 in order to strengthen trade relations. The trade committee formed by 30 industry representatives from 20 companies will start its visits in Colombia, followed by Panama and then the Dominican Republic. Within the scope of the visit, negotiations will be held for new cooperation and joint investments. According to the CIB, in order to evaluate new business opportunities, the trade committee will also visit important logistics centers such as ports and free zones.

The CIB stated that the trade committee aims to increase the trade volume between Turkey and the region by forming new partnerships.
