Chongqing Steel’s crude steel output reaches 0.4079 million mt in December

According to Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel, in December 2010 the company produced 0.4079 million mt of crude steel, up 94.64 percent compared to the 0.21 million mt produced in the same month of 2009.

In terms of finished steel, in the whole of 2010 Chongqing Steel produced 3.825 million mt, up 36.71 percent over the finished steel output volume of 27.975 million mt recorded in 2009.
