Chongqing Steel sees 126 percent rise in finished steel output in January

According to Chongqing-based Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Corp., its finished steel product output reached 516,900 mt in January, surging by 126.66 percent compared to 228,000 mt in the corresponding month of 2009.
 
Chongqing Steel's principal activities include the manufacture and sale of steel plates, steel sections, wire rods, steel billets, cold rolled plates, as well as coking and smelting by-products.
