Chinese finished steel exports see sharp decline in Sept.

SteelOrbis has been informed that China's finished steel exports decreased nearly 900,000 mt from 5.38 million mt in August to 4.5 million mt in September. Meanwhile, semi-finished steel exports increased from 340,000 in August to 350,000 mt in September.

The strong decline in finished steel exports indicates that the export-restricting policies of the Chinese government have started to show their impact.
