Chinese crude steel output declines in early Oct from late Sept levels

According to the report for early October (October 1-10) issued by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in the given period its member companies produced 13.74 million mt of crude steel, while total national crude steel output for the period was 16.27 million mt, with respective average daily outputs of 1.374 million mt and 1.627 million mt respectively, down 43,000 mt and 51,000 mt compared with the figures for the September 21-30 period.
