China’s semis exports down 2.4% in Dec from Nov, up 134.21% in 2025

In December last year, China’s semi-finished steel exports totaled 1.4412 million mt, down 2.4 percent month on month, while increasing by 86.43 percent year on year, according to China’s customs authorities.

In 2025, China’s semi-finished steel exports amounted to 14.8213 million mt, up 134.21 percent year on year, 6.65 percentage points lower than the increase recorded in the first 11 months of the year.
