China’s iron ore output increases by 4.8 percent in January-May

In the January-May period of the current year, China’s raw iron ore production amounted to 335.455 million mt, increasing by 4.8 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In May alone, China’s raw iron ore production amounted to 70.787 million mt, up 1.5 percent year on year.
