China’s iron ore output down 8.8 percent in January-October

In October this year, China’s raw iron ore production amounted to 125.348 million mt, down 6.4 percent, while its metallurgical coke output totaled 37.174 million mt, decreasing by 9.4 percent, both year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s National Bureau of Statistics. 

In the January-October period this year, China produced 1.135254 billion mt of raw iron ore, down 8.8 percent, while it produced 375.656 million mt of coke, decreasing by 5.1 percent, both year on year.
