China's iron ore import volume declined by 11 percent in April from the previous month and is unlikely to rise in May and June as the world's biggest steelmaking country curbs its output.
As announced by the Chinese customs authorities, China imported 52.9 million mt of iron ore in April, down from 59.5 million mt in March.
