China’s iron ore imports down 8.3 percent in May

In May this year, China imported 70.87 million mt of iron ore, down 8.3 percent year on year, according to data issued by the Chinese customs authorities.

In the first five months of the current year, China imported 378.07 million mt of iron ore, down 1.1 percent year on year.
