China’s finished steel exports down 13.2 percent in H1

In June this year, China exported 6.944 million mt of finished steel, up 0.9 percent month on month and increasing by 2.0 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on July 13.

In June, China exported 958,000 mt of metallurgical coke, increasing by 14.3 percent month on month and up 36.9 percent year on year.

In the January-June period of the current year, China exported 35.426 million mt of finished steel, down 13.2 percent, while it exported 4.793 million mt of coke, increasing by 16.9 percent, both year on year.
