China’s coke output rises by 3 percent in H1 2025

In the January-June period this year, China’s metallurgical coke output amounted to 249.41 million mt, up 3.0 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). 

In the first six months this year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 2.405 billion mt, increasing by 5.4 percent year on year.

In June alone, China’s metallurgical coke and raw coal outputs totaled 41.7 million mt and 421.07 million mt, down 0.2 percent and 3.0 percent year on year, respectively.
