China’s coke exports down 21.4 percent in Sept

In September this year, China's total exports of coke and semi-coke amounted to 110,000 mt, down 21.4 percent or 30,000 mt compared to 140,000 mt in September last year, according to the figures released by China's General Administration of Customs. In the January-September period of this year, China's coke and semi-coke exports totaled 3.01 million mt, down 71.4 percent or 2.15 million mt year on year.
 
Meanwhile, China's exports of coal (including lignite) in September totaled 530,000 mt, down 56.2 percent on year-on-year basis, while the country's total coal exports in the January-September period amounted to 7.45 million mt, down 38.6 percent or 6.22 million mt compared to the same period of last year.
