China’s coal imports decrease by 12 percent in January-November 2025

In the January-November period this year, China’s coal imports amounted to 431.676 million mt, down 12.0 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In November alone, China’s coal imports totaled 44.053 million mt, down 19.9 percent year on year, while increasing by 5.6 percent month on month.
