China’s auto output up 14.34% in January-November

According to the latest data issued by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on December 10, in the January-November period of the current year China's automotive vehicle output and total automotive vehicle sales in its domestic market amounted to 19.9893 million units and 19.86 million units, up 14.34 percent and 13.53 percent respectively, both on year-on-year basis. Meanwhile, the year-on-year growth rates for total output and sales of passenger cars in China in the given period were both over 15 percent. Also in the given period, the increase rates for commercial vehicle output and sales in China were 8.37 percent and 7.15 percent respectively, both year on year.
 
In November alone, Chinese automotive vehicle output amounted to 2.1343 million units, up 11.39 percent month on month and 21.17 percent year on year, while auto sales in China totaled 2.0439 million units, up 5.75 percent month on month and 14.12 percent year on year.
 
According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in the January-October period this year China's import and export volumes of automotive vehicles amounted to 953,900 units and 781,200 units respectively, down 1.7 percent and 8.25 percent year on year.
