China suspends coal imports from North Korea
The General Administration of Customs of China’s Ministry of Commerce has announced that China is suspending its coal imports from North Korea to comply with a United Nations (UN) resolution against North Korea. According to the statement released on February 18, the freeze on coal imports from North Korea takes effect as of February 19 and will remain in place until the end of the current year.
